Last night, we went to dinner with Ken Ham, of Answers in Genesis, at the Marco Polo restaurant in Vienna. We weren't the only ones from Barcroft there... Sharon and Steve Ong, Chet and Michelle Arnold, and Dick Fitts as well. A room full of excited Christian people made for an enjoyable evening as Ken Ham encouraged us to stand strong for the truth of creation as told in the Bible. His description of the new Creation Museum in Kentucky made me want to grab my kids and take off right away for a field trip! We should charter a few buses for Barcroft and get going!
Take a look at their web site and you will see some great stuff... www.answersingenesis.org

I have four family passes to the Creation Museum and anyone is welcome to borrow them. I plan on going in September (after all the rug rats are back in school).
A charter bus sounds good to me. The drive there and back is a hindrance, but the fellowship on the bus would be lots of fun and make the trip much more enjoyable. Who wants to take this on? I assume Andy wrote the article about AIG and Ken Ham. (It is helpful for the author of a blog article to be identified since only a few people have posting privileges). Thanks.
Yep, that was me who wrote about the AIG dinner... I would also be glad to take the lead on a field trip to the museum... maybe target this autumn?
Ginnie and Tom attended the Creation Museum. It was very good. There is a lot packed into the museum, and its very well done.
I see that the trip is already in the BEACON - so this is very exciting.
We're planning a trip to the museum at the end of August basaed on Ken Ham's presentation at the dinner Andy mentions. Also, I've had some requests for more detail on the October bus trip to include a request for a sign-up sheet.
